Coffee and eggs from ten, the grill going till the bavette runs out around nine, and a self-service wine room downstairs for whenever you fancy it. This is your table on Chiswick High Road, pull up a chair.
I opened this place in Chiswick because every neighbourhood deserves somewhere it can wander into any day of the week. An all-day bistro on Chiswick High Road, somewhere you can come on your own for a coffee, or gather a group of friends around the semi-private table and settle in for the evening. That's really the whole idea.
Cooking for a neighbourhood changes how you do things - and we love it. It's why we're open from breakfast through to dinner, why the portions are the size they are, why the prices sit where they do, and why we tend to remember how you take your coffee.
We'll keep a table for you.

We write the menus around whatever the season happens to be giving us at the time.
Free-range eggs, higher-welfare meat from the UK and Ireland, fish straight off the day boats on the south coast. Our leaves and herbs come from a handful of small British growers, and we bake the bread here every morning from regeneratively farmed grain, milled in this country. Good things, kept simple, and nothing travels further than it has to.
Three menus, one kitchen behind them all. You’ll find the full lists on your table, and we’ll happily answer any questions over the phone if you’d like to know a bit more about what you’re having before you sit down.
Do let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements and we will happily work around them. We add a discretionary service charge of 12.5% to every bill.
Down the stairs is our favourite little secret: a quieter, low-lit wine bar built around our own working wine collection. Exposed brick, bottles on show, warm wooden shelving. It's part of the same address as the restaurant above, but it keeps its own pace and mood.
Come down for a drink before dinner, to work your way through something you've not tried before, or to take the table for a smaller group with a little privacy. The Wine Room opens at five, drop us a note and we’ll save you the best corner.
